The Dummy Test can be used to test a barcode without the need to use the Barcode Scanner.

1.Click Dummy Test on the tool bar.

An example barcode is displayed. In this example serial number 0000001 is going to be used with the Barcode Purpose Id U008 which is the Pledge/Donation.

2.Click OK.

The Payment form opens with the relevant information from the Barcode Purpose Id. The Source code in the barcode purpose has been populated with the Destination code and the user is required to enter an Amount then select whether this is a Donation Only or Pledge, whether it is a one off or monthly and also if it is a continuous or fixed plan with regular payments or a single payment.

If Remember Value is ticked on the barcode purpose id the next time the barcode is scanned in this session thankQ will remember the values.
