There are currently 6 different Barcode Purpose Types. These are explained in the table below. Remember that all barcodes will automatically contain the Contact Serial Number.
Purpose |
Explanation |
Pledge / Donation |
Creates a New Payment and enters the contact serial number and specified source and destination codes. |
Event Attendance |
Enables a person invited to a specified event to be recorded as Attending. |
Profile |
Enables a specified Profile Name (and Profile Value if required) to be set for a contact. |
Member Renewal |
Renews a contacts membership. |
Set Do Not Mail |
Records the specified contact as Do Not Mail with a specified reason. |
Track Attendance |
Under Development – Do Not Use. |
