thankQ Help

Ownercodes are used to control access to thankQ records.  In this case, they will be used to ensure that users only see information for the State that they are in:

1.When a record is created, it will be stamped with the Ownercode for the user that created it.  For example, if Jim has an Ownercode of NSW, each time he creates a record in thankQ, it will be stamped with an Ownercode of NSW.

Only users that also have an Ownercode of NSW will be able to view and amend this record.

A “record” in thankQ includes a Contact, Payment, Event, etc or any other record that has a unique serial number field.

2.Jim will also be able to view and edit any records in thankQ that have an Ownercode of NSW (as long as he has sufficient access rights to do so). Records that do NOT have an Ownercode of NSW will NOT be seen by Jim.
