The global update remove a preference process can be applied to either all of the contact records in the database or only to a set of contacts.  This process will remove any mailing preferences that have been set on the nominated preference.

1.Click on Preferences under Communication

2.Click on the Cog and select Global Update - Remove a Preference

3.Select the type of mailing to remove the mailing preference for, from the Select Preference drop down and click OK

4.Click Yes to remove the preference type from the selected mailing type

5.Click OK to proceed

The mailing preference for the type of mailing specified will now appear as a grey virtual mailing preference under the Preferences tab.
