Compare Events by year and targets
1.Select View_EventAttendeesSummary
2.Select fields
Event Id
Start Date
End Date
Attendee Type
Num Active Attendees
3.Select View_EventPlusEventContact
4.Join the Tables with Event Id
5.Select the fields
Description
Ticket Source
Ticket Campaign Year
Giving Source
Total Booking
Serial Number
First Name
Keyname
6.Select Tbl_SourceCode
7.Join Source Code to Ticket Source
8.Select the Source Target field
9.Enter Alias Names
10.Tick the appropriate tick boxes for Group by, Count and Sum Values under Aggregate
11.Click OK

Total Booking will have Sum Aggregate as the system will total these bookings. Source Target does not have a sum as the source code itself has the total target and does not get totalled To determine which field needs a Sum Aggregate think of the report as an Excel spreadsheet – if you summed the Target for each booking it would add the target amoung in the source code that many times. |
12.Click Finish on Query Editor
13.Click Grid on the ribbon under the Home tab
14.Add the required fields
Event Id
Year
No. Attendees
Total
Target
15.Change Year to Numbers and Dimension
16.Change Total and Target to Currency
17.Activate Multiple Master Filter from the Data tab
18.Select Tree View Filter
19.Add Year and Event Id to Data Items
20.Change Year to Numbers
21.Click on the drop down beside Year and select Sort Descending or click the Year button to change to Descending
