PROFILES

Profiles are used to add additional information to or classify a contact record. For instance, you may want to record a contact’s country of origin, donor rating or classification.  

There are two profile types, single and multiple.

A single profile can only have one value, can only be used once on a contact record e.g. Age Range.

A multiple profile can have many values e.g. Language some people can speak many languages.

A profile entry can also be configured so it is only valid for a particular date range.

Up to 15 User Defined tabs can be created to appear under Profiles so you can group certain information about your contacts together under the relevant tabs. When you click on say Medical Info only that information is displayed. These are setup under the Administration module.

Add Profile Information to Communications

There are no merge fields available to add profile information to letters and the like. Instead Applied Field Rules can be setup for this purpose. Using Applied Field Rules are covered under Mail Manager.

If you are wanting to use profile information in communications, contact your thankQ Administrator to setup the Applied Field Rules for the profiles required.
