A Source Code is a code that is used to track any payments entered into thankQ. It is the same as a Cost Centre Code or General Ledger code. Source Codes are covered under the Finance training.

If a mailing is linked to a Source Code which is setup especially for the mailing, any donations entered against the Source Code will record who and how much a donor has made.

Once the Appeal has finished a search can be conducted to locate the contacts that received the mailing and donated and also the contacts who did not donate. These contacts can then be followed up with a further mailing.

1.Click on Link to Existing Source Code under workflow.

2.Locate and Select the Source Code setup for this mailing Appeal.

As contacts donate the information can be found under the Sources tab of the Mailing:
