thankQ Help

Before using the barcode scanner in thankQ, certain system settings are required to be configured.

1.Ensure that the Barcode Scanner is a COM Port/

2.Select the Set Barcode Reader Port option, from the Administration menu.

3.Enter the COM Port number into the text field, to indicate the Communications Port the barcode scanner has been connected to on your PC.

Note: If you are unsure of the COM Port details, do the following:

1.Right click on the Start button and click on the Device Manager menu option.

2.Click on the arrow beside Universal Serial Bus Controllers.

3.Locate the barcode scanner and right click to open Properties.

4.The Port number can be found beside Location:
