The following table displays the recommended thankQ addressing fields to use in your thankQ template.
TOENVELOPESALUTATION This field will use the Envelope Salutation field automatically created when contacts are entered into thankQ. You can view the Envelope Salutation for a contact by clicking on the Communication module.
When the Apply Households option is chosen within Mail Manager, the TOENVELOPESALUTATION field will automatically use the Household Envelope Salutation The fields used to construct the Envelope Salutation are managed via lookup values. |

TOCONTACTPOSITION This field will use the information from the Position field which is under the Personal module. |

CAREOFPREFIX and CAREOF The CAREOFPREFIX and CAREOF should always be used TOGETHER. The CAREOFPREFIX field simply adds the text “c/o “with a space after the o. The CAREOF field will use the information in the Care Of field on the Contact Details Form. When adding these fields to your template, do not put a space between the two fields. The Address panel can be found under Personal and Communication on the Contact form |

MAILINGDETAILSUBADDRESS This field will use the information in the Sub-Address (Dept) field which is under the Communication module. This field is normally used to add a department that a person works in. |

ORGANISATIONNAME When writing to a person that uses a Company Address as their default address, the ORGANISATIONNAME field will take the company name shown in the default address. When writing to a company, the ORGANISATIONAME field uses the information in the Organisation field. The TOENVELOPESALUTATION AND TOCONTACTPOSITION fields will then display the name and position of the Main Contact for the Organisation. |

ADDRESSLINE1 Uses the information in the Address 1 field. |

ADDRESSLINE2 Uses the information in the Address 2 field (if used). |

ADDRESSLINE3 Uses the information in the Suburb field. |

ADDRESSLINE4 Uses the information in the State field. |

POSTCODE Uses the information in the Postcode field. |

TOLETTERSALUTATION
This field will use the Letter Salutation field that is created and updated automatically when contacts are created and editing. You can view the Letter Salutation for a contact by clicking on the Addresses tab under Communication When the Apply Households option is selected within Mail Manager, the TOLETTERSALUTATION field will automatically use the Household Letter Sal field instead. The fields used to construct the letter Salutation can be changed in the Contact Salutation lookup values. |
