This describes the specific area to which the discount applies:
Contact |
The discount acts as a coupon. The customer only needs to have the promotion code in order to receive a discount. |
Event |
The discount is only applied if the customer has purchased a ticket to an event which meets the criteria specified in the fields below: •Event ID •Description •Event Type •Event Attendee Type •Event Session Type, Event Session Desc Not all of the above criteria need to be filled out. For example, inputting an Event Type of ‘Dinner’ will make eligible all the different Event Attendees for a discount, such as Adult or Concessionary, in addition to attending the Dinner itself. In addition to the above, an ‘Apply without Promo Code’ checkbox is available if ‘Event’ is selected as the Qualification Type. This indicates whether the discount requires a promotion code to be entered in order for the discount to be applied. |
Membership |
The discount is only applied if the customer has purchased a Membership which meets the criteria specified in the fields below: •Member Type •Member Sub-Type •Member Grade Not all of the above criteria need to be filled out. For example, inputting the Member Type ‘Individual’ will make eligible all the different Member Sub-Types for a discount, such as Gold, Silver or Bronze, in addition to the ‘Individual’ Member Type. In addition to the above, an ‘Apply without Promo Code’ checkbox is available if ‘Membership’ is selected as the Qualification Type. This indicates whether the discount requires a promotion code to be entered in order for the discount to be applied. |
Payment |
The discount applies to a Payment linked to a specific Source and Destination Code created in thankQ. When a customer purchases an item linked to one of these Source or Destination Codes, they will become eligible to receive a discount according to the features specified in the Applies To tab. An ‘Apply without Promo Code’ checkbox is available if ‘Payment’ is selected as the Qualification Type. This indicates whether the discount requires a promotion code to be entered in order for the discount to be applied. |
Product |
The discount is only applied if the customer has purchased a Product which meets the criteria specified in the fields below: •Product Type •Product Sub-Type •Product ID •Description Not all of the above criteria need to be filled out. For example, inputting the Product Type ‘Book’ will make eligible all the different Product Sub-Types for the discount, such as ‘Comics’ or ‘Novels’, in addition to the Product Type ‘Book’. In addition to the above, an ‘Apply without Promo Code’ checkbox is available if ‘Membership’ is selected as the Qualification Type. This indicates whether the discount requires a promotion code to be entered in order for the discount to be applied. |
