Some Date Fired Actions are standard in thankQ, but you can set up others that are necessary for your organisation to function more effectively.

A Date Fired Action can also be described as a Business Rule.  For example, it might be a rule in your organisation to send out a letter to every new contact that is set up in thankQ.  A Date Fired Action can be set up, and an Action will be automatically generated for every new contact.

For example, your organisation may also have a pro-active approach to credit card management of regular donors and send out letters as the expiry date is approaching.  A Date Fired Action is set up and an Action is then generated for each contact whose credit card is due to expire.

Date Fired Actions can also be set for example, when donations fall within a certain range or when a Membership becomes active.
