Multi-Source Confirmation Placeholder Fields

Scroll Prev Top Next More

The process for setting up a confirmation page is similar to that of the standard Donation Confirmation Page. However you will need to use different placeholder fields if you want to display each individual Source Code that the contact has donated to. For Multi-Donations you can have two different placeholder types:

-Multi Donation (for multiple donations to one-off source codes)

-Multi Regular Donation (for multiple donations to regular giving source codes)

1.To set this up first create the Placeholder Sections (Multi Donation and Multi Regular Donation) so that you can add the custom text that will be displayed depending on whether the donor had a single or ongoing payment plan.

2.        This is what it will look like if you have setup these sections:

3.Now that the placeholder sections have been added you will need to add the Placeholder Repeat Fields to each section. Remember to make sure that you add the correct fields to the correct placeholder (i.e. Regular Fields, go in the Regular Placeholder, etc.).

4.Note as well that certain fields should be made visible no matter what Source Code was selected (such as the Date of Payment and the overall Amount Paid). These fields should be added outside of the placeholder sections.
5.An example of the CMS Page has been created here which features sections for both One-Off and Regular Giving scenarios as well as a tally of the overall payment amount.

6.When the user makes their payment the fields will repeat themselves as many times as required to list all of the places they have allocated their donation. In this example the user has made two one-off donations and one regular donation to 3 different Source Codes.
