If you wish to send acknowledgement letters, the system administrator should ensure the Acknowledge Pledges flag is set to Yes in the Finance folder of Lookup Values in the Administration Module.

When new pledges are created in thankQ the Acknowledge field on the Receipt Letters tab defaults to Yes.  

Pledges created by thankQ from the Membership, Events or Sponsorship modules do not have the Acknowledge field set to Yes.

You can set or change the value of the Acknowledge field by editing the pledge.
