thankQ Help

Bulk Load is a function whereby a timesheet is created which contains the name of the Volunteer, their Client, the Volunteer's Position pre-loaded into the sheet. To complete the sheet you only need to enter the  Date and Hours for those volunteers and then log them into thankQ.

This function is available on the Volunteers form and there are three options you can use:

oLoad: All Volunteers are available to be loaded into thankQ between the selected dates.

oLoad by Volunteer Manager: Only the Volunteers assigned to a particular Volunteer Manager between the selected dates are available when creating the timesheet.

oLoad by Volunteer Supervisor: Only the Volunteers assigned to a particular Volunteer Supervisor between the selected dates are available when creating the timesheet.

Regardless of which of the above timesheets you use the following will happen when you log this into thankQ:

- If a Job does not exist thankQ will create a Job with a one off time slot which will represent the hours worked.

- If a Position does not exist thankQ will create the Position for the Volunteer and any skills associated with that Position.

- The Right Click menu functionality for adding, changing or removing records within thankQ will NOT be available on any Jobs, Positions or Time Slot records which have been added by the Bulk Load function.

Note: The Profile Volunteer Client is required in Lookup Values so when a Client is selected only those clients that have that Profile will be available from the drop down list.
