In the scenario given below is when a funeral home has sent you some envelopes with donations and receipts that they have collected on behalf of a person that has died and they asked that instead of giving flowers they donate to your cause.

On the envelopes are details of the person who has made the donation. There could also be anonymous donations so you would have an anonymous record setup for these situations.

You could create contact records for the donors from the envelopes and when you write to the next of kin it will list the people who have donated.

To be able to report on the donations for In-Memoriam and the money received from the funeral home we will set up a Source Code 1 for the In-Memoriam and a Source Code 2 for the funeral home.

In other scenarios you may receive a total amount of donations from a funeral home and then you can enter the whole amount against the In-Memoriam Source Code using the funeral home as the Donor.
