The skills, positions, jobs and time slots are entered into thankQ.

The Volunteer and the job in thankQ is compared to make sure there is a match and the job is then assigned to a Volunteer after any required checks.

The Volunteer’s time is entered into the calendar to record the time spent on the job.

There are two options that can be used with Volunteers:

1.Skills can be created and added to a position which is the type of work the volunteer will perform. The Skills are what the volunteer is required to have, to be able to do this work. A job can be created with the position which has time slots against it so if the volunteer does the work, the time slot can be marked off. If extra hours were performed extra time slots can be added.

2.With this option if you are not interested in the start and end times but only the hours, you can just have the Skills and Positions. Then you can use the Load option where the volunteers and their hours can be uploaded.
