Not all fields are Indexed therefore if an * is at the beginning of a complex search, the search may take longer to run.

The performance will be greatly improved if you type the beginning of your search and end it with an *.

For example: if you are looking for numbers beginning with 1 and ending in 44 enter 1*44 not *44.
