In the thankQ Essentials course you learnt how to use yellow box searching, also known as standard searching.
When combined with reports or global updating yellow box searching is a quick and powerful tool.
•When using yellow box searching you are able to combine criteria from different fields on the form key and tab area, as well as using standard search operators to enter more than one piece of search criteria into a field.
•The pick list and drop down menus are available for you to select or you can type values into a field.

To make searching more powerful and flexible you can use a combination of wildcards, operators and tick boxes. Each of these are explained below.
