From 2022 onwards the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) of Singapore uses a unique identification number called the Foreign Identification Number (FIN). These are issued to foreigners who are working, studying, or residing in Singapore. These numbers start with a prefix of M and are unique to each contact.
