Before attempting an Ezidebit refund you will need to keep the following in-mind:
| - This functionality is only available to accounts approved by Ezidebit. Please check beforehand with Ezidebit that this service is enabled. If enabled on their side it will always be enabled in thankQ. |
- Only settled payments can be refunded.
Once a batch or web payment has been approved and a supporter asks for a refund, follow the steps below:
1.Reverse the payment in thankQ.
NOTE : When a credit card payment is reversed in thankQ, it does NOT automatically refund the supporters credit card. You will need to send the reversal to Ezidebit.
2.Send the reversed payment to Ezidebit by opening EFT File option in the Reversal Batch.

3.Select Ezidebit - Refund to issue the refund through Ezidebit.
Please note that the refund will take a few days to be processed.
