The Bequests module on the Contact form has been designed to track each Stage and Status of a Bequest program, record Actions as a reminder to follow contacts up at some stage in the future and also record all mailings associated with Bequests.

There is also an Internal Comments section which allows you to add notes.

You can add records to Audit Summary as follows:

1)        Use the + icon to add a record to a single contact:

2)Set the required entries for Stage, Status and Date. Optionally you can also set the Source and Type. Press Save when you have finished. All of the values in these picklists can be set in Lookup Values.

3)        If you want to delete a newly added record you may do so by selecting the X icon and confirming the deletion when prompted:

4)        To view or edit a specific record select the magnifying glass to open it:

 Make any changes you want and then save the record:

 EditBequest

5)If you want to update more than one contact at the same time you can also add, edit or delete Audit Summary records for all contacts in the search. To do this search for the contacts that you want to change and then select the Cog icon:

6)The options will work the same way as their counterpart for an individual contact, only the changes will instead be applied to ALL contacts within that search. For example if you add a new Bequest Audit record then all contacts will get that Bequest Audit record. If you edit the selected bequest then all bequests with the same criteria will also be edited.

7)        When using the Add or Edit Global Update option you may also optionally apply the stage and status to the mailing response and set the Mailing ID.
