Data for importing can be inserted into tables through several methods.

A Standard Data Import requires a user to select or create a template and load the data into the import tables.

Scheduled Data Imports can be set at a specific time to import from a specific location using a template and loading data into the import tables automatically.

Web Sync will read files, access web services and insert data into the import tables automatically.

ESB, Other External Processes will insert data into tables directly. Once inserted the status is set to Records Logged and the standard import process will start from that point.
