This option is only available if you have Automation.
There is an option under Write on the tool bar to be able to send Event Kit documentation to a nominated printer.
Event Kits for Team Captains, Team Members, Volunteers etc. are setup/controlled under Communication Automation where all the required documentation is attached e.g. personalised letter and other relevant documentation.
The warehouse receives daily notifications summarising registrations to process, checks the event in thankQ, prints merge files which includes the welcome kit document and picks and packs other associated items to complete the kit.
Event kits that contain merchandise will have an order created and if there are any subsequent registrations for the same team they will be added to the existing order which will be closed automatically after 5 days. The order will be ready for despatch at this time.
Under Options on the tool bar there are two options that can be used to manually close orders.
Close open orders for all sub events are all the sub events on the Event that is open.
Close open orders for a selected event is the event/sub event highlighted.
Events where a participant registers will have an order created and this will be closed automatically and ready for despatch.
There are no open orders for any Event Kits that do not have a merchandise component attached to them.
Reprinting kits can be achieved from the contact’s record under their communication tab.
Additional orders can be created as per instructions above, if a different t-shirt is required etc. If an Event Kit has already been printed for a participant and another order is required these cannot be sent until 24 hours after the previous kit and should be dated accordingly.
If a kit has gone out already it will not be repeated, only reprinted
