Before creating the Event, Source and Destination codes should have been organised/created. This is for reporting purposes if any money is involved in any ticket costs, donations, sponsors or auction items.

1.Click Event Manager under the Event Modules

2.Click Create on the Tool bar

3.Enter an Event ID that is relevant to the Event so it is easy to locate in the future

4.Select the Type of Event from the drop down

5.Select a Sub Type from the drop down if this is relevant

6.Enter a Description of the Event

7.Select the Location for the Event from the drop down

8.Enter or Select a Start Date

9.Enter a Start Time (24 Hour clock)

10.Enter or Select an End Date if different from the Start Date

11.Enter an End Time

12.Select a Host if applicable

13.Enter the name in Surname to locate, click Select

14.Select a Ticket Source

15.Enter the search to locate, click Select

16.Repeat the step above to select any further Ticket/Source codes required

17.Enter the Minimum number of Places for the Event to go ahead

18.Enter the Maximum number of Places that the Event can hold

19.Select Web Access and Available POS if applicable

20.Place a tick beside each Feature that is applicable to this type of Event

21.Click Save

The Event has now been created with the sublists selected

Information about the Event is shown under the Details sublist tab
