Add Event Discounts

Apply without Promo Code:

Indicates whether the discount needs a promo code to be entered in order for the discount to be applied.

Promo Code:

Specifies the promo code that is required to be entered (if Apply without Promo Code is unchecked).

Single Use:

Restricts contact from using the discount for multiple orders (including memberships and bookings).

Valid From and Valid Until:

Specifies the date range when the discount is available to be applied. Can be left blank so that there is no minimum/maximum date.

1.Click Discount Manager under the Events Modules.

2.Click New on the tool bar.

3.Enter a Promo Code or leave the automatic number.

4.Click the drop down beside Discount Type to select if this is a Special or Promotion.

5.Tick in the Single Use if this is to be used only once by the contact.

6.Untick Apply without Promo Code if this discount cannot be used without having to enter the code.

7.Untick if this discount is not being using on the Point of Sale system.

8.Enter a Description for the discount.

9.Enter or select the dates this discount is valid from.

10.Select from the drop down beside What Qualifies and select Event.

Note: If applying a discount for all Event Types you can leave the all but the Event Type field blank.

11.Select the Event ID from the pick list that this discount applies to.

12.Click the pick list beside Event Type to bring the type through.

13.Click the pick list beside Event Attendee Type and select the ticket type for the promotion.

14.Click the pick list beside Event Session Type if there are any sessions associated with the event.

15.Click OK.
