thankQ Help

The Power Search feature allows users to construct detailed searches using predefined search statements to build very specific search criteria.

For example you can set up a search to find all contacts who live in a certain area; contacts who have donated over a certain amount;

or contacts who live in a certain area who have donated a certain amount.

You can also exclude contacts that fit certain criteria such as Do Not Mail.

All Power Searches can be saved for future use. A power search is a dynamic search, meaning that every time you run a saved power search any new contacts that have been added that meet that criteria will appear in the search.

Before creating a Power Search you must carefully consider what criteria you will need to use in your search and how these criteria should be combined to create the desired result. The following section will outline how to create a basic power search, the differences between an OR search and an AND search, and how to create a combined power search.
