Once the lottery has been set up you will now be able to sell tickets to the contacts and process the resulting payments. Ticket payments can be processed through the batch processing facility available in the Finance module. Payments can be made for all tickets whether those tickets are contained within a book or not. The help topics below will show you how to pay for tickets in both scenarios.

Make sure you select the Source Code for the lottery you are buying tickets for when you are creating the payment(s). If your contact is making a donation to this lottery on top of ticket purchases then be sure to use the lottery record's Donation Source Code (if you have set this up). |
